Helen Heiden was born July 4 1907 in south of Watkins, Benton Co. IA. She died October 28 1973 in Fort Hospital, Detroit, MI and was buried in Elkland Cemetary. She was 66 years old.
Helen was a Registered Nurse and while in Detroit was Superintendent of Nursing at East Side General.
Helen and Albin came to Cass City in 1946 where hse owned and operated the Stevens Nursing Home for 22 years. She retired from nursing 4 years ago (1969) from the nursing home.
She was a member of the International Zonta Club of Cass City and a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Cass City.
She is survived by one brother, Cecil Heiden of Gross Pointe, two sisters: Mrs. Melvin Sandick of Portland, OR
Mrs. Robert (Irene) Root of Riverton, WY and a number of nieces and nephews
Private funeral services were held at Little's Funeral Home. Rev. James VanDellen pastor of the Good
Shepherd Lutheran Church officiated. Interment was in Elkland Cem.
